(ANSA) - SAN PAOLO, 8 JAN - Brazil exceeds the 200 thousand deaths of Covid-19 on the day in which it records the highest number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic: 1,841.
Local health authorities reveal it.
The death toll rises to 200,498.
Today also marks the contagion record: 94,517, which bring the total number to 7,961,673.
Brazil is the second country for the number of victims, behind the United States, and the third for number of infections after the US and India.
