The competitors set out from Riyadh to arrive, after 456 km in the desert, in Al Qaisumah. De Villiers preceded his compatriot Brian Baragwanath (Century Racing) at the finish line, third place for the French Stephane Peterhansel (X-Raid Mini JCW team) who remains at the top of the general classification.
