The Ministry of Health updated today (Thursday) the priority of allocating corona tests to the population.
Under the new directive, it will not be possible to access and perform a test without a referral.
Referral will be conditioned on symptoms, contact with a verified patient or return from abroad, except in exceptional cases defined in the document.
In addition, the ministry clarifies that from now on a person who is defined as recovering should not be tested, unless there is a clinical suspicion of recurrence of the virus, and after individual judgment.
Thus, a person who has recovered from corona and been exposed to a verified patient will not be tested for the virus unless he has developed symptoms of the disease.
