Following the announcement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this evening (Thursday) of the new vaccination agreement with Pfizer, the Ministry of Health has published the details of the arrangement.

Under the agreement, morbidity data in Israel will be transmitted to the American company on an ongoing basis.

Pfizer, on the other hand, will deliver a million vaccines against Corona, hundreds of thousands of which are expected to arrive next week.

According to the Ministry of Health, "In light of the success of the vaccination campaign in Israel and the high response of the public to get vaccinated, and in order to avoid a shortage of vaccines in the country, the Ministry of Health asked Pfizer to bring forward vaccinations."

"We are pleased to announce that an agreement has been signed with Pfizer to advance vaccine shipments starting in January," it was reported.

We are continuously monitoring the results of the vaccination campaign. "

It was also noted that "monitoring includes general data on epidemic morbidity data - number of verified, critically ill, deaths and number of vaccinated. This knowledge is important for understanding 'real-world' data regarding the impact of the vaccine on coping with the epidemic. "Yomi, and the same information will be passed on to Pfizer. Israel is the world leader in the rate of immunization. The agreement with Pfizer will help us continue to effectively vaccinate anyone who is interested in it and return to the desired routine soon."
