Viareggio massacre: Cassation, manslaughter prescribed

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 08 - The culpable killings for the Viareggio massacre have been declared prescribed following the exclusion of the aggravating circumstance of the violation of the rules on safety in the workplace: the Court of Cassation decided this by sending the Court of Appeal of Florence the reopening of the bis appeal, also for the former CEO of FS and RFI, Mauro Moretti.

   Liability for the sole crime of culpable railway disaster to be re-evaluated.
