Sixty-six undocumented delivery men who worked for Frichti until June 2020 seized the Labor Court on Tuesday to have the existence of an employment contract recognized between them and the meal delivery platform.
The lawyer who represents them, Kevin Mention, told AFP that he filed Tuesday morning “
66 cases, complete and ready to be tried
”, to the Paris industrial tribunal.

Most of the applicants come from countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Their collaboration with Frichti ended in June 2020, after the publication by the daily
Liberation
of an article on the working conditions of a delivery person for a subcontractor of the platform.
Each applicant claims tens of thousands of euros from Frichti
A conflict arose when the company had checked all its delivery men, depriving 200 delivery men of work who immediately mobilized to obtain their regularization.
Half of them had obtained in July access to a regularization procedure via a receipt from the Paris police headquarters.
The delivery men, who seized the Prud'hommes on Tuesday, had not had access to this receipt but had been eligible for a solidarity fund matched by the company, in the amount of 1,400 euros per person according to Me Mention.

He intends to demonstrate the existence of a "
very clear link of subordination
" between the deliverers concerned and the platform, a subordination which, according to him, is expressed by several elements detailed in the referral requests: "
wearing of a uniform required, attribution tours, timing, tracking of kilometers traveled, existence of managers, etc.
".
Me Mention asks the Prud'hommes to "
recognize an employment contract between the parties
" and to state that the termination of the collaboration "can be
analyzed as a null dismissal or without real and serious cause
".
As a result, each plaintiff is claiming tens of thousands of euros from Frichti, in particular for salary reminders, compensation for concealed and illegal work and damages.
