(ANSA) - ROME, 12 JAN - Confirmed, also in the second degree trial, the criminal association of a mafia type for the Spada clan.
This is what was decided today by the judges of the Court of Appeal.
In total, the judges handed down 17 sentences for a total of over 150 years in prison. For Carmine Spada, sentenced to life imprisonment in the first degree, the judges reduced the sentence to 17 years in prison. Also for Ottavio Spada, known as Maciste, the sentence was reduced from life imprisonment to 12 and a half years while for Roberto Spada the sentence of life imprisonment was confirmed. Among the sentences, 16 years were inflicted on Ottavio Spada, known as Marco, 6 years Nando De Silvio, called Focanera, and 10 years for Ruben Alvezdel Puerto, 7 years for Vittoria Spada, 6 years for Silvano and 8 years for Ramy Serour. Against the defendants, the disputed crimes range from mafia-type association, murder, extortion and usury. (HANDLE).
