(ANSA) - ANCONA, 16 JAN - A 56-year-old man was killed in the late evening in Ascoli Piceno. According to the first information, he is a man from Salerno, already under the police force, who has long lived in the city. Franco Lettieri, this is the name of the victim, was found on the ground bleeding in the very central Via dei Soderini: he would have been hit by several knife blows. Attempts to help him by the 118 staff were useless, but according to some rumors, before dying he would have had time to give indications to rescuers to identify the attacker.
