Stellantis is born, the FCA-Peugeot merger completed

(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 16 - The merger between FCA and Peugeot, which leads to the birth of Stellantis, has been completed and is effective from today. The two companies announced this in a joint press release.


    Stellantis will be listed on Monday in Milan and Paris, on Tuesday in New York.


    As a result of the Exor merger, the holding company of the Agnelli family, today holds 449,410,092 ordinary shares of Stellantis, which correspond to 14.4% of the capital in circulation. This was announced in a press release by Exor itself.


   From an accounting point of view, pursuant to international accounting standard IAS 28 - the note states - it is believed that Exor will exercise significant influence over Stellantis.
