Tensions and clashes between groups of young people and law enforcement agencies are taking place in Cité Etthadamen, a popular suburb of the capital, but also in Monastir, Sousse (where a fire was set in a police station), Biserta and other locations in the Country.

According to security sources cited by the media, the police seized in Sousse, where a police station was set on fire, a number of ready-to-use Molotov cocktails, a petrol can and a sword. The officers also arrested about fifteen boys intent on setting fire to plastic waste containers.
