The two missing ski mountaineers were found dead in Devero, in the upper Ossola (VCO), in the Alpine basin at 1600 meters.
The bodies of a man and a woman, both from Lombardy, were found at about 2,200 meters above sea level, in the area above the Crampiolo alp.
Traces of them had been lost yesterday: they were supposed to stay overnight in a hut but this morning they were not seen and the alarm was raised.
The research of the Alpine Rescue involved the use of over 50 rescuers.
The tragic discovery of the lifeless bodies of the two ski mountaineers also occurred thanks to the cell phone of one of the two which was turned on.
