(ANSA) - BEIJING, JANUARY 18 - China's GDP jumps in the fourth quarter of 2020 by 6.5% per year, compared to the 6.1% expected by the analysts and the 4.9% recorded in the previous three months, while the economic growth is 2.6% (2.7% in the third quarter and 3.2% estimates).
The recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic is confirmed by the growth of the whole of 2020, quantified by the National Statistics Office at 2.3%, against the 2.1% expected on average on the eve, but which represents the slowest step in more than 40 years.
