The Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set Thursday 4-2-2021 as the date for the oral clinical interview for the successful students in the theoretical section of the unified pharmacy exam (December 2020 session) of the non-Syrian pharmacy license holders.

According to an announcement by the center, Sanaa received a copy of it today. The exam is conducted at the center’s entry point at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Damascus at ten in the morning and aims to probe the knowledge and professional and clinical skills required to practice the profession according to several axes (pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical chemistry, ethics of practicing the profession, and clinical biological parameters. Dosage forms, quality control, analytical technologies, and medicines of plant and microbiology).

The student’s success and obtaining a mark of 50 percent in the national exam is a necessary condition for the equivalence of the non-Syrian certificate, and it is not permissible to enter the clinical interview examination except after passing the written exam according to the advertisement.

The result of the clinical interview examination is determined whether he has passed or failed, and the applicant will keep the written test result in case of failing the clinical interview examination.

3280 male and female students took the unified pharmacy exam on the nineteenth of last December in six examination centers in public universities, in addition to the external access centers.
