(ANSA) - BERLIN, 21 JAN - The German government "will make every effort" to guarantee quick access to the Antique vaccine from the population, "but I cannot guarantee the production of vaccines or even that people allow themselves to be vaccinated". Angela Merkel said this at a press conference in Berlin, stressing that this remains a choice of citizens.
Chancellor stressed that among the positive aspects of the current phase is the fact that AstraZeneca will be authorized next week and that the British mutation "does not seem to hinder the effect of the vaccine". The virus continues to change, however, he said, which is why it is important to keep the numbers of the infection low. (ANSA)
