(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 22 - The effects of smart working on workers and private sector companies "have been positive, preserving wage levels and the employment of chips could be done" and its extension could have "positive repercussions on the labor market" . This is what we read in a paper by the Bank of Italy researchers dedicated to the theme according to which "agile work would therefore have contributed to limiting the negative consequences of the shock associated with the pandemic on aggregate demand and employment". Private sector employees who resorted to smart working during the campaign "achieved a higher monthly salary (+6%), due to the greater number of hours worked, and made less use of the Redundancy Fund" compared to colleagues (ANSA) .
