More than 140 agents and 123 patients are affected by Covid-19 at Dieppe hospital (Seine-Maritime), whose human resources are consequently under "strong tension", we learned from its management on Thursday.
"The situation of the Dieppe hospital center is worrying", indicated the management of the territorial hospital group (GHT) Caux maritime in a press release titled "significant and worrying tension".
"On the Dieppe hospital, we are at 141 staff" stopped because of the virus and "123 patients present" sick with Covid, said Thursday afternoon Franck Esteve, deputy general manager of the establishment.
Across the entire GHT, which has seven establishments, 176 staff and 173 patients are affected by the virus.
Dieppe hospital has nearly 1,735 paid full-time equivalents, all categories combined, and 958 beds and places.
The triggered reserve
The Regional Health Agency (ARS) “triggered the regional and national health reserve.

All of the public and private establishments in Normandy have been contacted by the ARS, as have the Regional Unions of Liberal Doctors (URML) and Pôle Emploi.

The hospital has deprogrammed “close to 40%” of the surgical activity for non-emergency patients, according to Franck Esteve.

On the vaccination side, “the Dieppe and Eu centers can no longer set an appointment.
