The entertainment sites on the network sadly report the deaths of Mira Forlan, actress of "Lost" and "Babylon 5."

Although people close to the actress have confirmed her death, quite a few surfers still insist that this is a false report, and that in fact the actress is alive and breathing, apparently following the death saga of "70s show" actress Tanya Roberts.

The 65-year-old Forlan reportedly died Wednesday after suffering from poor health for months.

The news of her death was posted on her official Twitter page alongside her date of birth and death and her quote, and also Jay Michael Strazinski, director of "Babylon 5", paid tribute to her at length on his Facebook and Twitter.

"It's a night of great sadness," he wrote, "for our society and warrior who has gone the way we can no longer achieve. But as with anything, we will close the gap with her in time, and I believe she will have many stories to tell us and many roles to share with the universe. "Mira was a good and kind woman, a talented actress and a member of the entire cast of 'Babylon 5'. We are broken by her mammoth."

Despite the reports and hundreds of exciting eulogies that began to flood the web from fans and colleagues, quite a few surfers insisted that it was a false report, not to mention a troll, from a site that consistently publishes false news and "kills" people prematurely.

In response to tweets that cried out to Pike News, the fan page of the series "Lost" responded in a tweet stating that a family friend had confirmed that Forlan had indeed passed away and that this was a verified report.

Forlan, who was an actress and singer, was born in 1955 in Yugoslavia to a mother of Jewish descent and a father of Slovenian Croatian descent and immigrated to the United States in 1991. Over the years she starred in the successful science fiction series "Babylon 5" as Delan Mir, for five seasons from 1993 to 1998, and in the series " Lost in the role of Daniel Russo in 25 episodes from 2004 to 2010.

Forlan is survived by her husband, Yugoslav film director Goran Gazik (who directed an episode of "Babylon 5"), and a son named Marco.
