Many fans of the messenger app have wanted this for a long time, but this option is not available.

the app points to the long-awaited feature.
As
WABetaInfo
reports, support for multiple devices is said to be in the WhatsApp beta version 2.21.1.1 for
Android
.
According to this, users could use the
app
with one account on
several devices
without the "main device" having to be connected to the Internet.
The discovery in the beta version suggests that the
messenger service
is at least considering making this feature
available in
a future
update
.

beta version of

app
that can be tested by all users,
rumors
about “multi device support” could be confirmed.

update,

no longer have to rely on WhatsApp Web to use the messenger on a
notebook
or
tablet,
for example.

As early as
May 2020
there was a rumor that
WhatsApp was working
on a corresponding feature.
At the time, however, it seemed as if the second device had to be at least in the same
WiFi network
as the
smartphone
.
It doesn't look like that at the moment.
But whether the
messenger app has
really discarded this obstacle and whether the function will even exist in the future is still in the stars.
Since there is still no official
release date
for the next
update
, users have to be patient a little longer.
It is also questionable whether the new feature appeases the users: Many had migrated to competitors such as Telegram or Signal because of a forced update on WhatsApp regarding data protection - but then WhatsApp rowed back for the time being.
