A plane lost control and crashed this Saturday in Rosario, in an accident that claimed the life of

Francisco Calgaro

, the former guitarist of a renowned Queen tribute band.

The incident occurred after 3 pm, in a field located in the municipality of Pérez, which is part of the Greater Rosario.

The owners of the change reportedly found the aircraft and called local firefighters.

So far the causes of the accident are unknown.

The mayor of Pérez, Pablo Corsalini, said in

TN

that work is still going on in the area.

"Apparently it was a light motorized aircraft, which was piloted by the victim. From what they say, it apparently collapsed due to a technical failure. Neighbors in the area said that it was heard as an explosion and that they saw the aircraft fall" said the communal leader.

Corsalini confirmed that

"unfortunately the victim is Facundo Calgaro"

and recalled that he was a native of Rosario.

Calgaro was a guitarist for the band known as

Dios Salve a la Reina,

who covered the British group and thus achieved international recognition.
