(ANSA) - GENEVA, 25 JAN - The impact of COVID-19 on the labor market has been devastating: in 2020, approximately 8.8% of the time worked worldwide was lost, equal to a loss of 255 million jobs full-time, says the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The estimated 255 million lost jobs is roughly four times the number of hours worked lost during the 2009 financial crisis, the ILO says, commenting in its latest report on the impact of COVID on the world of work.
