Major and Champ
, Joe Biden's dogs, have officially entered the White House.
The
two German shepherds
waited a few days before entering 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue: Joe and Jill Biden in fact preferred to settle alone in the presidential residence and settle down before welcoming the two dogs that, according to the first photos released, appear at ease in their new home.
And so, after four years of absence, the gardens of the White House are once again hosting the 'First Dogs', restoring a
long tradition interrupted by the Trump family
.
Champ is already used to the glories of presidential residences
. Biden had in fact welcomed him in December 2008, when he was elected vice president and was about to officially take office. Then,
in 2018, she adopted Major, a German Shepherd puppy who had experienced a rough first few months.
Part of a litter exposed to chemical toxins, Major is now making history: he is the first dog in a kennel to live in the White House.
