"Surprise wedding in Malibu, California" - that was how a SPIEGEL report about Pamela Anderson began almost exactly a year ago.
This time one could write: »Surprise wedding on the Canadian island of Vancouver Island«.
Because Anderson has done it again: She and her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst married on Christmas Eve, as Anderson told the tabloid Daily Mail.
A spokesman confirmed this to the more serious broadcaster CNN, and "People" also reported from the wedding.
According to the Daily Mail, it was an "intimate celebration" at Anderson's home on Vancouver Island.
"I'm exactly where I belong: in the arms of a man who loves me," the actress is quoted as saying.
It's not Anderson's first marriage.
The number of their weddings is not entirely clear: their marriages with drummer Tommy Lee and musician Kid Rock are undisputed.
She married the poker player Rick Salomon twice: in October 2007, after a few weeks the separation followed.
The marriage was annulled in March 2008.
In 2013 the two dared the second attempt, this time the liaison lasted six months.
Eight days later it was over
In January 2020, Anderson finally announced her marriage to producer Jon Peters - eight days later, she announced the end.
She later told the New York Times that she and Peters were not legally married.
Anyway, things could go differently this time: Anderson said she got married on the property her grandparents had married 25 years earlier.
The two are still together.
