A bus of line 28, with passengers on board, starred in a dramatic moment this Wednesday at the intersection of General Paz and Beiró avenues, direction Riachuelo, when from one moment to another it began to catch fire until providing a Dantesque spectacle.
The episode was recorded by security cameras of the City Police and by motorists who passed by the place just as the smoke and flames spread through the articulated unit of line 28, which in some of its branches runs entirely through General Pazo. In addition, the fire quickly gained the entire width of the asphalt.
In the security images it is observed how the driver stops the unit on the side of the road and quickly the flames begin to spread, so quickly, that in seconds they crossed the entire road putting other drivers at risk.
As reported by the City Police, when the firefighters arrived at the place, the personnel verified that the fire was developing in a generalized way and attacked it until the situation was dominated.
The presence of SAME was requested as a precaution, although miraculously there were no injuries after the shocking situation.
Members of the Neighborhood Police Station 10 B of the City Police intervened, who cut the trace until the vehicle was removed and the asphalt tape was cleaned.
It was found that the reason for the fire was a mechanical electrical problem, so it was ruled out that it was intentional.
