The whole world of junior fashion will be present at Pitti Bimbo 98, from 17 to 19 January at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. A show that increasingly offers a lifestyle offer, not just fashion, to drive consumption.

It will be an edition with a strong focus on green materials, tailored garments, and cocoon atmospheres. For footwear, next to sneakers returns the desire for leather shoes, such as moccasins, strictly made in Italy. Furthermore, sustainability continues to be a central theme: once again at this edition, Pitti Bimbo will offer a selection of international conscious brands, capable of carrying out the demands related to respect for the planet's resources and the ethics of the entire production chain. The Petite Parade fashion show is back with the research brands of the fair, and a new, more colorful set-up is born in some pavilions thanks to the hand of the illustrator Fonzy Nills who has decorated some areas. This edition also sees the debut of the Time to meet project, a fashion speed date in which journalists, bloggers and brands will meet to get to know each other better. Then the events: Nanan will present the film Sunflowers, directed by Catrinel Marlon, Philipp Plein will launch the new children's collection with a 'Mini-me' touch, while the Molo brand will bring to the console the very young JJ Vannelli, 8 years old, son of art: his father is Joe T Vannelli, a well-known DJ of the world house scene. Infantium Victoria will present a storybook with author Dinie van den Heuvel. Then there is the new project of the brands Upa, Appulu and Alaya that propose 'Clock couture stylist': 10 children aged 6 to 9 are invited to become young designers, they will have to take care of a distinctive look using clothes from all three brands. There is also space for solidarity at John Richmond kids for Pangea, with which the brand supports the non-profit organization and supports 'Little Guests', a program that welcomes and protects mothers and children who have experienced a condition of domestic violence.
