Piazza Affari is confirmed to be weak in anticipation of the start of the US stock markets, which reopen after yesterday's break for the Martin Luther King Day celebrations. The Ftse Mib index gives up 0.3 percent amid trades for more than 1 billion euros in turnover, 200 million more than the day before. The spread between BTPs and ten-year German Bunds fell to 156.3 points, with the Italian annual yield down 2 points to 3.77% and the German one by 1.3 points to 2.21%. Diasorin (-1.75%), down for the 5th consecutive decline, Amplifon (-1.68%) and Stellantis (-1.56%) gave up. Moncler (-1.46%) and Cucinelli (-1.17%) also showed a minus sign, suffering along with the entire luxury sector in Europe, while Saipem rebounded (+2.4%), whose target price was raised by 21% to 1.7 euros by Mediobanca analysts. Also recovering were the banks MPS (+1.46%), Mediobanca (+1.42%) and Unicredit (+0.74%). Tim (+0.25%), Ferrari (+0.22%) and Eni (+0.15%) moved little.
