The truth is that it is very easy to recognize a book that is going to be a bestseller (one that comes from the field, not through an operation), all you have to do is listen.
Because there is only one way this can happen: word of mouth.
And in our age - typing to the screen.
A month ago, something happened in Israel: "The Emperor" by Eden Bell was published, and suddenly, in an instant, TikTok Israel (videos of book reviews on Tiktok) was washed away, as if in a flood, with excerpts from this romantic book, which is written in simple language, too often, and at the center of which is a romance between a slave girl A Jewess for the Roman emperor, who is not committed to historical reality and goes far with fantasy to the end, and then some more.
Another new entry, this time almost comical, is that of the book "Surrounded by Bad Bosses", a sort of stylistic continuation of "Surrounded by Idiots", the hit by Thomas Erickson that refuses to drop from the top of the bestsellers, perhaps, and this is a guess, because it condenses and distills some feeling that most of us probably feel , from time to time.
In the new book, Erickson comes to the world of work and explains to all of us how we can, in a few simple steps, make it better and more pleasant (at least for us).
