(ANSA-AFP) - YANBU, JAN 19 - Spaniard Carlos Sainz won his fourth Dakar car rally, after those in 2010, 2018 and 2020, at the end of the 12th and final stage in Yanbu (Saudi Arabia).
The oldest winner of a Dakar, "El Matador", 61 years old and father of the Ferrari Formula 1 driver, had been leading since the end of the 6th stage and managed his advantage throughout the second week thanks to his Audi teammates , the Swede Mattias Ekström and the Frenchman Stéphane Peterhansel.
