The EPP is expected to emerge as the leading European party in the June elections with 178 MEPs, followed by the Socialists with 143 MEPs.
Lo reports a survey produced by Euractiv with the help of Europe Elects projections.
As the third party, with 93 seats, ID, the European group of Salvini, AfD and LePen should establish itself, overtaking the liberals of Renew Europe which would have 84 MEPs, followed closely by Ecr, the group of Meloni and the Polish PiS with 80 MEPs .
Collapse for the Greens, who should obtain a delegation of 50 MEPs and for the left, which could fall below 40. 50 MEPs from parties without European affiliation remain out, the largest component of which should be the M5s delegation which, according to the survey, should obtain 14 MEPs.
Looking at the possible majorities in the European Chamber, the current grand coalition between the People's Party, Liberals and Socialists remains the only one capable of ensuring 51% of the votes.
However, the right will advance: with these numbers, in fact, there would be less than ten MEPs missing to ensure a majority for a possible coalition between the EPP, ECR and ID.
