The Aigi association, to which 80% of the companies that work with the former Ilva of Taranto belong, raises the level of the protest, calling for guarantees on the payment of the credits accrued by the companies, 120 million euros, fearing that they could vanish with the appeal to the administration extraordinary.
From the factory's gatehouse C, where a protest had been underway since 5.30am, a procession "with workers and vehicles" set off towards the city and which, according to what was learned, resulted in temporary road blocks and traffic slowdowns on the Ionian state road 106 and on the Appia state road.
