Preparation is easy thanks to these step-by-step instructions:

  • Clean and halve the Brussels sprouts.

    Peel and dice the potatoes.

    Finely chop the onions and garlic.

  • Heat the oil in a large pot and fry the minced meat together with the onions for five minutes.

  • Stir in the tomato paste and sweat briefly.

  • Add potatoes, Brussels sprouts, garlic along with the vegetable broth.

    Salt and pepper.

  • Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes until the vegetables are cooked.

    Stir occasionally.

  • Divide the farmer's pot into bowls and serve garnished with crème fraîche and parsley if desired.
