That of “The Tomorrow War”, set in 2051, is chaotic and apocalyptic.
An alien invasion is decimating humanity.
Humans therefore call on their parents and grandparents to help them.

Dan Forester, a high school science teacher and former US Army soldier, finds himself unwillingly enlisted and sent several decades into the future with other civilians to help his descendants.
Behind him, he leaves his wife but especially Muri, his 9-year-old granddaughter.
To save humanity, the kind and good citizen will have to become a hero.
He will collaborate with a team, we can say, of broken arms, but also an extremely brilliant scientist.
