No reduction in sentence: life imprisonment for Innocent Oseghale, accused of murder and sexual violence for the death of Pamela Mastropietro, the 18-year-old killed in Macerata on 30 January 2018. This was decided by the judges of the Supreme Court.
"It's what I've expected for six years. It's what I hoped for, my battle doesn't end here regarding any other responsibilities."
Alessandra Verni, Pamela Mastropietro's mother, said this after the Supreme Court ruling.
The woman appeared visibly moved.
