Deal for collectors: A modest house in Seattle, Washington, which became history due to the fact that Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world until recently, rented it when he founded the e-commerce giant "Amazon" in 1994 - recently came on the market and is offered for sale in the amount of 2.28 million dollars.

The 60-year-old Bezos, who is worth an estimated $177.5 billion, founded Amazon in the garage of the property he reportedly rented for just $890 a month.
During Bezos' time in the modest apartment, the space was equipped with a desk, computer and basic office equipment.
Since then, the property has undergone an extensive renovation, in which it was almost rebuilt and became a three-bedroom family home, a backyard that includes a large balcony with a deck and a hot tub.
The house last changed hands in 2019, when it sold for $1.52 million.
Last November, Bezos shared on his Instagram a nostalgic video from 1994, in which he looks young and geeky in the garage where, as mentioned, it all started.
In the post, Bezos writes that after twenty years in Seattle - he is returning to the city of his youth, Miami, where he invested tens of millions of dollars on a luxury property.

"Seattle has been my home since 1994," Bezos writes in the emotional post, "when I opened Amazon out of the garage in my rented apartment. That was my dad behind the camera in this video, touring Amazon's first 'office.'" My parents have always been my biggest supporters. They recently moved back to Miami, where we lived when I was younger. I want to be close to my parents. I've lived in Seattle longer than I've lived anywhere else and I have so many amazing memories from here. Seattle, you will always be a part of my heart."
