There are 764,907 pensions starting in 2023 with a decrease of 11.07% compared to the 865,948 starting in 2022. This can be read in the INPS monitoring of retirement flows according to which old-age pensions were 296,153, decreasing by 2.38%. while those advanced in the year of the transition from Quota 102 to 103 were 218,584 with a decrease of 16.09%.
There was also a significant decline for survivors' pensions (203,708 with a -17.98%) and for disability benefits, which decreased by 13.55% to 46,462 units.
The average monthly amount in the pension year overall was 1,140 euros, slightly up from 1,135 in 2022.
