On average the new checks are worth 950 euros compared to 1,366 for males (ANSA) There are 764,907 pensions starting in 2023 with a decrease of 11.07% compared to the 865,948 starting in 2022. For early pensions, based on several years of contributions, the new pensions are worth on average 1,758 euros per month for women and 2,111 for men. For old-age pensions women get on average 758 euros and men 1,071 euros.

 There are 764,907 pensions starting in 2023 with a decrease of 11.07% compared to the 865,948 starting in 2022. This can be read in the INPS monitoring of retirement flows, according to which old-age pensions were 296,153, decreasing by 2.38%. % while those advanced in the year of the transition from Quota 102 to 103 were 218,584 with a decrease of 16.09%.

There was also a significant decline for survivors' pensions (203,708 with a -17.98%) and for disability benefits, which decreased by 13.55% to 46,462 units.

The average monthly amount in the pension year overall was 1,140 euros, slightly up from 1,135 in 2022. 


Pensions starting in 2023 have an overall average amount for females of 950 euros (down from the average 963 in 2022), 30.45% less than the new allowances paid to men (1,366 euros up from 1,353 in 2022 ).

On average, therefore, we read in the INPS Monitoring of Retirement Flows, men can count on over 400 euros more per month.

For early pensions, based on several years of contributions, the new pensions are worth on average 1,758 euros per month for women and 2,111 for men, while for old-age pensions women get on average 758 euros and men 1,071 euros.
