Fifteen years after the inglorious “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, the fifth opus of the saga, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”, would he reconnect with the charm of the first three and the magic of the character created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg?

This part immediately reassures on one point: the much feared digital rejuvenation of Harrison Ford, during the prologue which takes place at the end of the Second World War, turns out to be astonishing.

Indy confronts Nazis to steal a mysterious dial believed to have been made by Archimedes.

Then we move to 1969. Freshly retired, he sees his goddaughter Helena arrive.

An art dealer, she wants to find the dial to sell it, but Indiana is determined to stop her.

The initial shock of the feature film comes from the first image of Indiana Jones in 1969: shirtless, Harrison Ford assumes his 80th birthday, and it is as magnificent as it is moving.
