The essential
Prime Minister Gabriel Attal visited a farm in Montastruc-de-Salies, in Haute-Garonne, on Friday, where he made announcements to respond to the anger of the agricultural community.
Despite the measures revealed, the FNSEA and the JA (the two main agricultural unions) are calling for continued mobilization.
For his part, the breeder Jérôme Bayle, head of this movement of anger, announced that the emblematic A64 roadblock would be lifted on Saturday noon.
A march in tribute to the breeder and her 12-year-old daughter, who died following an accident that occurred Tuesday on a farmers' dam in Ariège, is planned for Saturday in Pamiers.

Traffic still interrupted on the A10 motorway
According to Sud Ouest, the situation should be calmer this weekend, no major action was, for the moment, planned in Gironde.
On the other hand, the A10 motorway is still cut in two places at the gateway to the South-West:
Between Saintes (Charente-Maritime) and Niort (Deux-Sèvres)
Between Saint-Maixent (Deux-Sèvres) and Poitiers (Vienne)
Vinci Autoroutes also reports a cut in Charente-Maritime on the A837 between Saintes and Tonnay-Charente.

Measures “too fair” for the FNSEA
Emergency measures welcomed but considered insufficient to lift the mobilization by the FNSEA and the Young Farmers after a week of blockages.
The boss of the FNSEA Arnaud Rousseau called for “continuing the mobilization”, believing that the announcements were “too fair” and “did not (
meet
)” all expectations.

Attal accedes to some of the protesters' most pressing demands
Gabriel Attal promised on Friday an “agricultural surge” to face the deep anger of the countryside: abandonment of the increase in the tax on non-road diesel (GNR), inflated compensation for breeders affected by MHE cattle disease or even heavy sanctions against three agri-food manufacturers not respecting the Egalim laws on prices.
The head of government also cited the “cleaning” of watercourses or the delays in appealing against water storage projects and the extension of livestock buildings.
