Cleaning stables: The Israel Lands Authority (RAMI) demands that a UNRA compound in Kfar Aqab in northern Jerusalem, which operates without a permit on land owned by the State of Israel, be vacated.

In a warning letter sent to UNRA in Jerusalem exactly two weeks ago (November 14), the organization is required to vacate the complex that was built and operates without a permit on land that is privately owned by Rami - as well as to pay retroactive user fees of approximately NIS 17 million, as required by law.

"You are hereby required to immediately stop any illegal use, destroy everything you have built in violation of any law, clear the land of any person and/or object and return the situation to its original state, within 30 days from the date of this letter," wrote attorney Nitza Titelboim, the consultant The legal department of the Jerusalem area in the RMI.

The land, which covers 85 dunams, is located near the Qalandiya checkpoint and was purchased at the beginning of the 20th century by philanthropic Jews from abroad, who donated it to a dedicated fund for the development of Jewish settlement in the Jerusalem area. UNRA personnel took over the land and built, among other things, a house Sefer and Gilad in memory of terrorists who were involved in terrorist activities in Jerusalem.

Attorney Titelbaum's letter is a follow-up to the appeal of the chairman of the "United" faction and deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Aryeh King, which was sent three days before to the chairman of KKL-Junk, Yifat Ovadia-Lusky, demanding that the compound be vacated.

Upon learning of the Israel Land Authority's demand, King welcomed the decision: "I expect the government to immediately implement the collection of the payment from UNRA, the complete evacuation of the property and its return to Jewish hands, in accordance with its original purpose.

There is no place for enemies in Jerusalem."
