"With Gentiloni we talked about European dossiers, we are at the final stage of this legislature and there are several open dossiers such as the reform of the Stability Pact, the Pact on Migration and Asylum and there is an ongoing battle which I would like to see discussed more in Italy which is the negotiation on the directive on platform workers.
We are worried, because the attitude of the Italian government is hostile".
Thus the secretary of the Democratic Party, Elly Schlein, during a press point in Strasbourg.
"These are the issues at the center of the reflection with Gentiloni today, because as you know we often talk to Gentiloni", explained Schlein who on the Stability Pact explained: "we harshly accused the government of having accepted headlong a compromise made by others, in particular on the of the rigid quantitative parameters of deficit/GDP and debt/GDP".
