Late yesterday evening, Defense Minister Guido Crosetto went to the emergency room of the San Carlo di Nancy hospital in Rome due to persistent chest pain.
The tests and monitoring to which he was immediately subjected at the hospital, the Defense informs, "showed mild pericarditis and the absence of cardiac damage. In the next few hours, Minister Crosetto, whose health conditions are good, will be subjected to further tests, to ascertain the causes of the illness".
The minister thanks "for the numerous messages of closeness and friendship received from the institutional and political world, both the majority and the opposition, as well as for the affection witnessed by many ordinary citizens".
