"The anemone is a protected flower. It is a perennial geophyte and widespread from the north of the country to the Negev mountain. Besides the bright red color, the anemone can also appear in a variety of colors such as blue-purple-white depending on the soil on which it grows," she explains.
The first trees there were planted in the 60s.

What to do?
Among the trees in the forest, you can enjoy the spectacular flowering of carpets of anemones, almond groves and exciting views.
It is also an ideal place for a calm, shady and especially colorful picnic, this season.
The energetic among you will be able to go for a walk along the Hagat path, a route marked with blue trail markings.
It is about 1,500 meters long and during it you can see a number of goths from different periods, a water cistern and two ruins.
The Hagot path begins in the lower part of the Shahria forest, right at the main entrance.
After a short drive, you will notice a brown sign for the "Hegat Trail", turn right with it, park the car on the right and follow the wooden sign to the beginning of the route opposite.
The beginning of the route is a small climb and then it passes and winds between the large pine trees.
At the end of the route, you will reach the top of a hill where there are two archaeological sites from which you can view the eastern-southern part of the lowland.
In the place, as it is written, two swords: the sword of Crouch and the sword of Masara.
During the winter and spring we also find mushrooms.
In the forest area there are other marked trails, most of which are circular.
