COMEDY.
Chaos in the theater
“Yannick”, at 9 p.m., on Canal +.
Not planned on the agenda, “Yannick” arrives somewhat by surprise during the summer of 2023 in cinemas, and shakes up the box office, with more than 400,000 admissions.
Signed by Quentin Dupieux, a particularly prolific director capable of producing one or even two films per year, it was shot in six days flat in the premises of the Théâtre Déjazet in Paris (10th arrondissement).
The story ?
That of Yannick (Raphaël Quenard), a night watchman living in Melun who installed an RTT and braved public transport to get to the theater.
But the play that plays out before his eyes, and in which poor actors played by Pio Marmaï, Blanche Gardin and Sébastien Chassagne clumsily snort, bores him to the point that after a while, he can't stand it. more.
He interrupts the performance and... Takes out a pistol.
A takeover of the evening full of twists and turns.
