"We are in the year with the highest dengue epidemic outbreak than we have recorded. This is a reality of the city, of the central zone of Argentina, of all of Argentina and of all of South America. It is a year of an outbreak enormous in the entire region and we are part of that," explained the minister in dialogue with the program Now They Say, on Futurock.
Historically in CABA, the Aedes Adegypti mosquito begins to stop circulating in early and mid-April.
Until this year the mosquito had a peak in March/April but the dengue virus began during the holiday season, but now there has been a change, there have been cases since November."
