Economic sentiment rises in Europe in March.
The Esi indicator released by the European Commission recorded an increase in the Eurozone (+0.8 points, to 96.3) and the EU 27 (+0.7 points, to 96.2).
Among the major EU economies, Brussels highlights, the ESI has improved significantly in France (+2.6), and to a lesser extent in Italy (+1.5) and Germany (+0.9).
It worsened in the Netherlands (-0.7) and Spain (-0.4) and remained essentially stable in Poland (+0.3).
However, the employment expectations indicator (EEI) was practically stable for the second consecutive month in both the Eurozone and the EU-27 (+0.1 points).
