- Members of the extremist al-Ayat cell recruiting local residents were arrested in Rostov-on-Don.
The police say so, as reported by Tass.
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Interior Ministry's anti-extremism center in the Rostov region arrested five members of the extremist organization Alla-Ayat for trying to recruit local residents, police agencies said to TASS.
"The criminal activity of the extremist cell was coordinated from abroad. The financial flows were directed there. The leader of the cell and five active members who did recruitment were identified and arrested," the source said.
