Suncatchers are becoming increasingly common in Germany's gardens. But what's the deal with the yellow or colorful discs?
They look like small, neon-colored UFOs that are impaled on a stick and float over meadows, garden beds and trees. Sun catchers - or also known as light catchers - may seem strange, but they have a very clear function. You can read what that is here.

Creating a particularly cozy and attractive atmosphere in the garden – this is the task of garden decoration. This not only includes a wide variety of plants, ornamental grasses, garden gnomes and garden furniture, but also sun catchers fall into this category. This is how sun catchers work in the garden:

The sun catchers are simply stuck into the ground and give the garden a meditative atmosphere, especially when they swing in the wind. They are an uncomplicated way to provide light reflections in the garden and all without cables, electricity or batteries. They come in different shapes and colors.

But do the discs have an impact on the plant world? No. The main function of suncatchers is to create a beautiful atmosphere in the garden on a cloudy day. The plants in the garden will not feel any advantage or disadvantage.
