The children who no longer smile due to the "madness of war", the "discarded" women who suffer outrage and violence, and those "cristihumiliated by arrogance and injustice, by unfair gains at the expense of others in general indifference".
Look at this humanity at the Via Crucis written by the Pope and which this evening will be at the center of the celebration at the Colosseum. "Suffering with God does not have the last word", assures the Pontiff in the prayer which, starting from the suffering of Christ on the road to Calvary, embraces that of all humanity.
A mention also to the victims of insults on social media because today "a keyboard is enough to insult and publish sentences".
"Jesus, let me recognize and love you in unborn children and abandoned ones", "in many young people, waiting for someone to hear their cry of pain", "in too many discarded elderly people", "in detainees and in those who are alone ", "in the most exploited and forgotten peoples", is the Pope's prayer which also invites us to "recognise the greatness of women" and to pray for those mothers who see their children "undernourished and hungry and have no more tears to shed".
