The service institutions in Hama governorate have started implementing field rosters on the towns and villages recently liberated by the Syrian Arab Army from terrorism in the northern countryside of Hama in order to determine the extent of the damage to the infrastructure and service facilities there, and to conduct initial emergency maintenance work in preparation for its full rehabilitation in the coming period.

In a statement to SANA correspondent, the Director of the General Organization for Road Transport in Hama, Eng. Khader Fattoum, pointed out that the institution has taken immediate measures to ensure the readiness of traffic on the Hama-Aleppo highway by removing dirt mounds, deporting debris, restoring craters and gullies resulting from terrorist attacks on the road axis with a detection. Estimate the needs of site and road means of traffic engineering "warning signs and indication" to be installed as soon as possible.

Fattoum said that a technical committee at the Foundation is currently conducting a study on the reality of the Hama-Aleppo highway at the site extending from Souran Bridge in the northern countryside of Hama to the northern entrance of the city of Khan Sheikhoun in the southern countryside of Idlib with an extension of about 22 km to determine and characterize the road situation and secure it technically.

The Director of the General Company for Electricity Hama Engineer Mohammed al-Raidi pointed out that the technical committees in the company conducted field disclosures on the extent of damage to the electricity networks and lines in the northern countryside of Hama in preparation for maintenance and rehabilitation, where the cost of maintenance was determined by about 380 million pounds.

He explained that the statements were raised to the concerned authorities pending their approval to start the maintenance work and restore the electrical network for service, pointing out that the medium electrical tension networks in the town of Mork “completely destroyed” by the terrorist groups and will be maintained and tension lines to the city of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib countryside.

For his part, Ahmed Al-Mohammad, Director of Administrative Affairs at the Technical Services Directorate, said that the technical workshops conducted field inspections and opened roads in the towns and villages of “Murk, Kafarzita, Latmeen, Al-Tamneh, Sheikh Hadid, Kafarnabudah, Karnaz, and Lahaya” and others. Other.

Dr. Muteeh al-Abshi, director of the Public Institution for Drinking Water in Hama, revealed that based on field surveys on the reality of the water network and artesian wells that were feeding the town of Morck, the damage to the terrorist attacks was estimated at 600 to 700 million pounds.

Last week, army units regained control of al-Latamneh, Kafr Zita, Latmeen, Murk, Marakbeh, al-Lehaya, al-Faras, and a number of governing hills in the northern Hama and Idlib suburbs after eliminating the last remnants of the terrorists, after controlling the strategic city of Khan Sheikhoun in the southern Idlib countryside.
