In order to get acquainted with the reality of the infrastructure and service facilities and the basic needs needed to qualify them to contribute to accelerate the return of the people and follow-up completion rates, Minister of Water Resources Eng. Hussein Arnous, Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Atef Naddaf today visited a number of cities, towns and villages of northern Hama and Idlib .

The visit included the towns and cities of Kernaz, Kafr Nabuda, Al-Hubait, Khan Sheikhoun and Murk, where they reviewed the extent of damage to infrastructure and service facilities and the possibility of rehabilitation in order to resume the provision of services to citizens returning to it.

From the health center in Karnaz, the head of the center, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mustafa, pointed out that it provides health services for the people, especially vaccinating children and conducting laboratory tests for the clients, indicating that the center needs rehabilitation to improve its services.

Ibrahim Al-Mustafa, Chairman of Karnaz City Council demanded the rehabilitation of schools, roads, sewage and water networks that were damaged by terrorist attacks in the past period, pointing out that the city's population is currently ten thousand people.

In Khan Sheikhoun, Engineer Mohammad Ajami, director of the General Establishment for Drinking Water in Idlib, said that the water pumping station in the city, which includes 13 wells with mechanical and electrical equipment, is completely destroyed and looted. .

According to Ajami, the technical workshops are currently being carried out in parallel with the rehabilitation of the station and the rehabilitation of water networks and pipelines in the city of Khan Sheikhoun with the provision of a number of water fountains in an emergency to serve the people.

In the town of Mork, Syrian cars were found to trade, which provide food and supplies necessary for the families returning to their homes in addition to one of the pumping stations operating in the city.

In a statement to reporters, Minister Arnous noted the efforts being exerted by the service institutions in the governorates of Hama and Idlib, which include the removal of debris and the restoration of service facilities and facilities such as ovens, roads, health centers and schools, some of which have returned to the educational activity, while the rest will be put into service and investment as soon as possible.

The tour was attended by the governor of Hama, Dr. Mohammed al-Hazouri, the secretary of the branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party in Idlib, Mohammad Omar Kashto, and engineer Fadi Saadoun, governor of Idlib in charge.

After that, Ministers Arnous and Nadaf held meetings at the General Secretariat of Hama governorate, which included directors of government and service institutions concerned with projects to rehabilitate service sectors in cities, countries and villages liberated from terrorism in Hama and Idlib governorates, where they reviewed the completion rates and the need to raise the pace of work in the rehabilitation of service facilities. Infrastructure, with prioritization of work and the most urgent projects to ensure the return of the people to their homes and the return of their lives and agricultural, industrial, commercial and service activities.

The meeting was attended by Engineer Ashraf Bashouri, Secretary of Hama Branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party.
