The fire brigades of the Directorate of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in Lattakia, in cooperation with the fire brigade and civil defense in the governorate and with the support of fire brigades of several provinces were able to extinguish all fires in the province.
SANA correspondent said that all fires, including the big fire in the forests of the villages of Masais, Farzala, Shuwaikha and Ananab in the Qardaha countryside, have been brought under control.
